Meet our Lead Artist Instructor

Art has always been more than a hobby for me—it’s been my therapy, my voice, and my way of healing. Growing up in Jamaica, I faced many challenges, including poverty, but art gave me an escape and a way to express myself beyond my circumstances.

Raised by a strong single mother whose resilience inspired me daily, I learned early on the value of creativity and perseverance. By high school, I began using my art to support my family and community, creating projects that raised funds and brought people together. That encouragement helped shape my purpose and passion.

Today, I am a mixed-media artist who blends traditional and modern styles. My work is inspired by my roots—from coastal landscapes and nature to expressive, abstract pieces that reflect my journey.

I believe art is for everyone. It’s not about perfection—it’s about expression, emotion, and connection.

Through PaintTipsy, I’ve been able to share that belief by teaching, mentoring, and creating experiences that bring joy and healing to others.
